Gift for other half

My partner is romantic and yearns for historical garb. So I wanted to gift him the ultimate top. I haven't revealed it as of yet as it is not his birthday until a week from now but I love the piece and cant wait to gift it to him. Thank you greatly.

Cut is GREAT!

This cut is SO FLATTERING. Absolutely adore how it looks on. Unfortunately not impressed by the fabric quality so I'm only able to give it three stars. I am concerned about it's longevity. Will be purchasing the pattern so I am able to sew it in linen next.

Pretty nice but with a couple issues.

The shirt is overall pretty good and will work for what I need but there are some problems. For one the color is slightly more yellow then depicted in the photos. On a similar note its also far more see through then shown. This is a bigger issue because its see through enough to make out my nipples from the rest of my chest even in a daker room. Lastly the elastic on the wrists is incredibly tight, so much so that trying to pull the sleaves up like in the image cuts off all blood flow in my arm. Overall a good shirt but I'd keep these points in mind.
