The item description states the free size fits a waist of 24-44 inches. My waist is 26.5 inches so I thought it would be fine but unfortunately these overalls are HUGE on me. Leaves a massive gape at my lower back so you can see down to my undies. I'm only 5'3" and they are very long as well, so I'd say if you are on the shorter/smaller size, these are not for you. Disappointing as they are so cute and so well made. I can't return for another size as I ordered internationally (my bad) so hopefully can find a new home in someone else
