Ms. Buchanan’s bug creations are elevated versions of ordinary bugs. I loved them from the moment I first saw them. I never knew how she took their parts and glamorized each with such wonderful colors and sparkles. And I am not a ‘bug-kind-of-person’. They fascinated me then and now and into the future.
