I made this 'Donna' into a shorter version for my toile due to lack of fabric. If I could make suggestions though- if you could maybe shade the mirrored pattern pieces it might help beginners(+ others)to remember to turn those pattern pieces over before cutting.its and easy mistake to make especially if you are used to cutting your fabric folded. I used almost a full reel of shirring elastic for this so make sure you have enough before you start. Also I didn't need to gather the sort pieces- they fit perfect onto the stretched shirred pieces.Instructions say to just sew it straight to it but I wasn't sure it would work.🤔 Makes a gorgeous top though. I may make a version into a longer dress next time.
