CHASSEUR MUSTARD

I bought the mustard jacket and was impressed with the construction and colour. It arrived just as the current heat wave started so as yet I have not had a chance to wear it I promise a further update sometime in September/ October when the jacket will have been road tested

What a gorgeous jacket! Colour in real life is darker than the photos - definitely a mustard! - but I love it. Very much reminds me of my grandfathers overalls he wore when fixing the car… which is the point I guess as its workwear styled. Fit wise I went for a Medium as I wear a 44S blazer and it is almost perfect. Tight in the armpit and across the shoulders… no idea whether this will stretch like a pair of jeans over time or the whole jacket will shrink in the first wash and be unwearable. Arms and chest/stomach are perfect though, even when sitting down, which was my worry and makes these are the areas that made me wary about the Large because of my hatred of sleeves that are too long. Decisions, decisions! Only thing I would change would be one of the two pockets on the left; the smaller compartment could be 2inches or so longer to hold my reading glasses in their case. That would be perfection. Great jacket - you wont be disappointed.

Would highly recommend these jackets, good craftsmanship. The order was delivered promptly and the jacket is good quality and feels a good weight when you wear it. I look forward to layering it in winter. Sizing wise, I'd say go up a size as they are snugger around the shoulders and chest, maybe thats me!!
