Beautiful Watch

I needed a good replacement watch for my railroad job. Per the CFR the watch must be accurate to within 30 seconds of the time at Dispatch, my previous watch would lose time over there course of a month. All watches become inaccurate over time, but the previous one was a digital watch that was just too difficult to set, so I began my search for a good replacement and found this watch by KNIS. I am amazed with the finish and quality. It is accurate throughout the day, the power reserve keeps me going without worry, and it looks absolutely stunning. I have yet to determine the accuracy over a long period of time, but even if it is less accurate being an automatic/mechanical watch, it wins the points back with how easy it is to set the time especially with it having a hacking function. My only complaint is the clasp on the strap. This is a huge nitpick but during the winter months I have to layer up for my job, and my coat will push the watch to the end of my wrist. This causes the clasp release to activate against my wrist and open the clasp at inconvenient times. I don't see this being a problem during summer months when I am not layering clothes, and for winter I may add a more traditional buckle. Other than that the watch performs flawlessly and I am happy to have found such a great piece of timekeeping that meets my job requirements and can still be worn on my days off

Clean classic design

As soon as I saw this watch I had to have it. The classic design, with the multi layered face is a joy to see. When the watch is in day light you can clearly see the texture of the face, and the inset numerals. The hands work very well, and have a 30's style. The only part of the watch I didn't like was the strap with the buckle mechanism which I could not get used to. Amazing watch, I shall be back for more !
