Great color tool

I purchased the color tool to increase my skills with choosing fabrics to blend in quilts. I am using more solids in my quilting these days and having this tool helps me to pinpoint what is complimentary or color adjacent to create better harmony. I've been challenging myself to step outside my comfort zone when it comes to color selection and this tool has really helped. This tool comes with 24 color cards that list 34 colors in each color with tonals and color codes (for paint mixing I assume). The back of each card shows where the color falls in the spectrum and also shows analogous colors, split complimentary, and triadic (with the card number shown with the color). There are also 12 pages of introduction on how to understand and use the cards. Finally, you get two value finders (red and green) which help you to further refine your choices of light and dark by pulling the hue out of the equation.
