Bixpy Angler Pro motor kit- Tested it extensively on a kayak
I recently purchased the Bixpy Angler Pro motor kit and tested it extensively on my kayak during a round trip from Cap Saint-Jacques to Oka Beach, covering approximately 11.5 km.
The motor performed exactly as advertised. It is incredibly quiet, almost silent, and provides a smooth, slow, but very steady propulsion that makes long kayak trips much more enjoyable. It is not designed for high speed, but as a reliable power-assist system, it does an excellent job.
During my 5-hour trip, I cruised at an average speed of about 2.8 knots, mostly at 70% power, and the 768 Wh battery performed as expected, leaving approximately 25% charge remaining at the end of the journey.
I also contacted Bixpy support regarding a question about the adapter fit, and their response was prompt, detailed, and very professional.
Overall, I am very satisfied with the product's quality, quiet operation, battery life, and customer support. For anyone looking for a lightweight, reliable, and easy-to-use motor for kayaking, I can confidently recommend the Bixpy Angler Pro.
