Third time's the charm?

This is the third time that I have owned this beanie. It's warm and well-constructed. Black Diamond Beanie #1 was a gift. I wore it every winter until my then-fiancee commandeered it and made it her winter beanie. One early morning, she was out walking the dogs when an owl swooped down and stole it off her head! This is not an uncommon occurrence - Google "owl steals hats" Black Diamond Beanie #2 was purchased by me for my now-wife to replace the owl hat. She wore that one on colder days during our recent vacation to Norway/Iceland. Upon returning home, she discovered that the beanie was left behind in the land of the ice and snow with the midnight sun and the hot springs below. So here we are at Black Diamond Beanie #3. Is the third time the charm? Needless to say, we like this beanie so much, we keep buying it :)
