Scrumptiousness in a bottle
At last I've found the source of the deliciously sweet sauce flavors in some Taiwanese dishes -- it's always hard because I don't know what things are called. This sauce is incredibly scrumptious with a complex salty and sweet combination boosted by the Taiwanese sugar, mirin, and licorice. I figure that natural umami in sauces indicates the presence of healthy compounds that kept everyone in such good condition in the olden days, so I actively seek out these foods. Thanks to Yunhai for identifying and importing them!!
