Still not certain about the recommendation for yarn and needles
Thank you for this pattern! I’m a fairly good knitter, know a bit about yarns and needle sizing. I’m about 1/2 way through the back of the pattern, using exactly what is called for re: needles and yarn. The results are not as tight or as crisp looking as the pictures. I feel like the needle size should have been smaller or the yarn a different weight. This was to be a gift to a bride, for her wedding day, but I’m not sure I will be happy enough with this piece to give it to her. Now that I am this far into the piece, I’m just not all that happy with it. Nice pattern, though!
