Laces caught and left my finger bloody

I have been wearing corsets since my 20s and this corset is odd. I think it’s the laces. I loosened them to put it on and all seemed fine but once on, the lace on the bottom stuck. I looked at the corset and the grommets to see if that was the problem and the laces moved fine. I put it back on. Same lace problem. I checked my shirt and the corset and tried to find any place the laces might be stuck on. Nothing. So I thought the laces were moving so I put back on a third time and pulled and it seemed to work then got stuck and it ripped the top layer of skin off my right pointer finger. I stopped because obviously I was bleeding. I waist train so not sure why the laces were being so stubborn but I am not sure if I could send it back or maybe it needs stain laces or ones that are more slick to properly go through the grommets.

I received my corset today...and just looking at it out of the packaging was breathtaking! It's a beautiful piece of clothing, so much more than I imagined! Getting it on was a bit of a struggle, and at first I thought it was too small. But perseverance paid off, and I got it where it needed to be. I love the way it shapes me, and I look forward to the process of seasoning it and beyond! I am so glad I ordered from Orchard, despite the extra costs of a Canadian shipment (customs, etc), and won't hesitate to order again! beautiful corset, very durable!

I loved that the corset came laced, so I could try it on right away. it was shipped very quickly. I ordered it Friday evening and it arrived Monday! I followed the instructions in the Orchard videos on how to try on the corset for the first time and how to properly season it. Ive had it about a week and a half and I'm able to cinch it down a few inches. beautiful corset, fits me well. I used the guidance from a sizing expert before ordering, and I'm so glad I did! She was also able to answer my other corset-related questions. Overall, great experience buying the corset. I was able to get exactly what I was looking for. Also wanted to say that I love all the videos you guys have out there. I watched most of them before setting out to make my purchase. I learned a lot. Thank you for a pleasant experience! Looking forward to purchasing again in the future when I need to get a smaller size :)
