Duxback Rain Poncho Green

Essential for winter!

I had previously bought a more lightweight synthetic poncho from a different brand and did not like it, as it seeped water thru after ten minutes and blew around like a sail. I sold it for a loss but was intrigued by the waxed cotton one by Duxback. Very happy I went this option for its waterproofing and weight. The actually weight keeps the front hangin over my handle bar and when I lean forward, I am one compact, warm, mostly dry (my feet still do bet a bit wet) cocoon. I am a poncho convert now! Top quality, not too heavy, very waterproof. Only potential downsides are it takes a while to dry out, it is somewhat bulky but you get used to it and it is on the speedy side but for winter commuting in rain in Oregon, it is worth it.

So far so good. The heavier fabric stays in place better than nylon! I improved the hand loops by waxing them a little stiff so they stay open and ready for clumsy gloved hands. Great lifetime product.

Looks great and like how small it packs down. Haven’t had a chance to use yet but others have told me they love theirs
