Afternoon Swim

I received an email asking for my honest review—so here it is: Louis Vuitton’s Afternoon Swim is one of my favorite scents of all time. However, the fragrance’s performance and projection leaves A LOT to be desired. Because of this I rarely find myself reaching for it out of my collection. But then I saw there is a home diffuser oil inspired by afternoon swim and thought, “that would be perfect because I can dial in the intensity on my home diffuser system so that my entire home always smells divine (and not just for a 30-60 minutes when I spray the cologne)”. Unfortunately, this wasn’t the case. I’ve tried all the popular inspired by hotel collection diffuser oils (my way, dream on, 24k magic etc .) and I typically have my diffuser intensity set anywhere between 2 to 5 out of 10 (with 10 basically going off every 30 seconds all day long). With this (Afternoon Swim) however, I have my diffuser set to the max intensity setting (10/10) and can BARELY smell it all. It’s not that I’m becoming nose blind either. I can come home after working a 12 hour shift and can’t even smell it when I immediately walk into my house. Pretty disappointing to say the least. I would say the potency/concentration needs to be increased by AT LEAST 3X to be considered with the price.

Fresh, clean, and energizing. This scent makes my home smell amazing with a perfect balance of bright citrus and freshness. Long-lasting, not overpowering, and exactly what I was looking for in a diffuser fragrance. Would definitely buy again!

This is a great clean smell. Highly recommend.
