MC-580 Multi-Frequency Segmental Body Composition Scale

An EXTREMELY negative experience so far. I bought the MC 580 and it is not working properly with the suggested app, and emails to the customer service have gone unanswered. I have used several Tanita body composition machines bought in Asia and am shocked at how bad this experience is. I am still desperately searching for ways to have the app work with the MC 580.

Its Just Okay

I have had a few cheaper body comp scales, I have compared this two a 120 dollar unit for two weeks and its not far off to be honest. The fluctuations with BF etc are dramatic from day to day. They have build issue as well, the handle is attached by a short cable vs a self retracting. So you cannot get on an hold the handle or you will weigh 2-3 more lbs due to the tension. No, weigh yourself first then reach down and grab it. I see this an issue for older patients. I will be returning my unit.
