The DMM Shadow Screwgate carabiner is my go to locker for most general tasks, good smooth threads on the barrel, strong, not too heavy and a good size in the hand . The color coding option is also useful on your harness when matched to the same color sling or other particular piece of equipment. Most of my gear is DMM because you can rely on the quality, fit and finish every time . Not the cheapest out there but you get what you pay for.
