This is my first Louisville softball bat that I've purchased in over 15 years I usually stuck with Miken but you know what I thought I'd give another shot at Louisville slugger softball bat and I just got it about an hour ago And I haven't tried it out yet but we're here in the next day or so I'm giving it a five stars now because I used to have the TPS Louisville slugger softball slow pitch bat 15 to 20 years ago and it was an amazing bat back then and hopefully it is today still an amazing bat

1- piece madness
Let’s just say it doesn’t just hit good, it looks good doing it. I like the Matte finish. Hardly any field wear look to it, within the first 5 at bats, compared to the gloss finish of other Louisville’s. I’m not much of a power hitter but it made me look like one. The first 4 at bats were singles… but that last at bat when sky high and back to the fence (290 ft). I know it’s not much, I’m not a big guy but I was pleased with the performance so close to the start of using it. The bat was just out of the break-in process. I have the 28 oz and as others have stated, it doesn’t feel like you’re swinging a 28. The nice thing about that is it has the mass of a 28 oz with the swing weight that is just a tad bit heavier than the Scott Hartling model. I would say add it to your bag first a different experience of hitting. It’s smooth swinging too! The only downside is I now have to find another manufacturers bat with the same specs so I can use something in colder weather. But that goes for all Louisville’s. Just a reminder , don’t hit it in lower than 60° weather. Pictures are to show the field wear. (My league like to throw bats around on hard dirt fields).
