Textiles galore

I really enjoyed the experience of meeting such a plethora of knowledgeable people, and to match faces to names that I’ve often read of or heard about. My purchases were measured but I could have quite easily spent more as there was such a lot of very useful and inspiring goods on offer.

My first visit

Hi it was my first visit and was interested to see everything textile related. The other stalls that weren’t textile related were not of interest to me and I found their presence confusing if I’m honest. I would much have preferred to see more textile makers, including ones at the beginning of their careers, with a more diverse representation. Also the venue, while gorgeous, didn’t seem to be best for wheelchair users etc

There were a lot of knitwear stalls, which didn't interest me. There were few stalls of interest to me (unlike previous fairs many years ago) but given the high number of stalls and the reasonable ticket price, it was still an enjoyable browse.
