Wood Stick Walking Umbrella

The first time I opened the umbrella a piece of wire that is fastened with twisting on the inside of the canopy, caught on a stitch of one of the seams. This resulted in one of the spokes getting bent. I looked at another umbrella that I have and that one had caps on the two ends of twisted wire. I have covered the twisted wire ends with duct tape to hopefully prevent this happening again. I haven't used the umbrella enough yet to be able to make any other comments on it.

Beautiful brolly but…

This is a lovely brolly, the colour and the style however it didn’t hold up very well in a windy day and one of the frame sections completely bent and snapped and essentially is now ruined. I’d only used the brolly twice and that was second use. Such a shame.
