HD-384 Digital Bathroom Scale

I needed an accurate scale in order to monitor an elderly relatives weight. After some research for quality scales I chose Tanita and some of the reviews helped my decision. This particular scale measures in Kg, lbs and stone. Plain as you like, no fancy estimates on weight and water retention or activity level to cycle through. I rated it 4 stars because of the inaccuracy on the product page, it lists Japan as the makers origin, it is in fact made in China, this has not dissuaded me from using it or relying on it. Additionally the device often weighs itself, 2.9 kilos on first activation so I wait for it to cycle on/off and then it zero's itself. I do not find this a concern but others may deduct more for what they consider a technical flaw that makes them question their purchase. For anyone who read this far, it is a good, accurate scale and as long as it isn't damaged in shipping should serve you well. I intend on keeping this scale and if and when the future dictates a need for replacement, will buy another.

Very easy to set up. Very sleek looking. My last Tanita lasted a very long time and hope this one does too.

Simple, but I can see both kg and pounds at the same time. As someone who moved from Japan to the U.S., this is exactly what I've been looking for. Very happy with it!　Kgとポンドが同時表示される体重計がほしかったんです。まさにこれです！とても便利で嬉しいです！
