Fish Fighter® Extreme Duty™ (XD) Bow Mount Anchor Nest

Great design using a lockable hook to keep the anchor in place. Well built and heavy duty. Only reason I didn't give it 5 Stars is because some of edges were sharp probably from the shearing process. Nothing a quick filing couldn't take care of. Get that taken care of and it is 5 stars all day long!!

Anchor nest base holes

The anchor nest holes were 3/8 " diameter while the quick change base holes were 1/4 " diameter. I had to cut 6 3/8" od bushings with 1/4id so I could use the 6 1/4 in bolts supplied with the quick change base. Would it be possible for the holes in the anchor nest base to be drilled to 1/4" only?

10 for design,but lacking in fit/finish. I should have looked harder but this nest has more rivits than my entire boat. All the edges were burred over and sharp. When the nest arrived I had to take it apart and sand every edge on it so as my kids wouldn’t get cut when they get close to the thing! Even the holes punched into the bottom needed to be de-burred. some hand finishing from factory would go a long way.
