Lightrek Hiking Umbrella

Light and practical.

I love it!

I lived in Japan for 2 years. While bike riding Shikoku year round in its semi-tropical weather, I quickly learned that rain suits just left me equally as wet with sweat as I would get from the rain. I learned to always carry an umbrella to keep my upper body dry while riding. Japan has passed new laws making it illegal to ride a bike while "holding" an umbrella. I like the ultralight design of this umbrella, and I especially like that there is a mount that allows me to secure it to my pack straps to keep both of my hands free while using it. I will update my review once I have used it on the trail for a bit. I will probably pair it with an ultralight rain kilt for my legs when I am bikepacking.
