Tears of the Wolf (SIGNED HARDCOVER)

Gorgeous book, incredible story

This is without a doubt the prettiest book on my shelf; I even showed it off to my librarian coworkers and they were gushing over it! As for the story, 1000/10. Beautifully written, accessible prose, thoughtful handling of the more traumatic elements of Brynn’s story (plus a nice content warning page at the beginning!), incredibly well researched. I can’t wait to start on the next book and I’m kicking myself for not getting that hardcover too!

Fantastic

Tears of the Wolf is the right blend of history meets fantasy. The perfect nuance of magic and men, a world lovingly crafted where one does not overpower the other. The magic system is careful and well thought out, and never once felt overblown or as if it took from the rest of the story. The world building is superb, and had me hooked by chapter two. I'm fully invested in the political intrigue and even more interested in the budding relationship between our two main characters. Tears of the Wolf was a pleasure to read, and I eagerly await the second installation.
