Ive had this book for a coupke weeks and hadnt started it until a coulle days ago. Once I started it, I couldn't put it down. My husband didn't see me for two days. Looks like I am waiting for book two now. Perfect story.

Always a good book from TA Lawrence

I’ve never read a book by TA Lawrence that I didn’t like, and this book is the same. It was raw, gritty, and had plot twists I didn’t see coming. Despite being a retelling of a well known story, there were so many unique and original ideas that it didn’t feel like a retelling at all. She did not shy away from the hard or difficult topics, but always addressed them in such a genuine way that it didn’t feel like pander. I can’t wait for the second book!
