Not the Experience I Hoped For

I was really excited to try your coffee for the first time, especially because of the story and mission behind your brand. As someone who has worked in the 3rd-wave coffee industry for years - and as a Ukrainian who wanted to introduce your roastery to Canadian coffee lovers - I had high hopes. Unfortunately, the beans I received were already about a month old, and the aroma reflected that. They smelled like an old, forgotten bag from the back of a shelf, and even with different brewing approaches, I couldn’t extract anything beyond a very average, Walmart-level cup. I had planned to gift one of the bags to a Canadian friend to showcase the quality of Ukrainian roasting, and I’m glad I tested it first. I really appreciate your mission and the heritage you want to share, but the freshness and cup quality of this order were a major disappointment. I hope you’ll take this feedback into account, because I believe your brand has potential - it just wasn’t reflected in the coffee I received.
