flat/lumpy end
One end/head is a perfect smooth sphere, the other end has been over-ground. With the naked eye you can tell it's kind of flat (instead of spherical) and lumpy, with visible grinding marks. It doesn't affect performance though and you can't tell from afar. It still slightly bugs me, but I imagine many (if not all) units are like this. I think future buyers should be aware there can be blemishes like this, unlike, say my AL slimini which is virtually flawless.
This isn't simply orange acrylic. The material feels premium. The stem is slightly cloudy but on close inspection through the magnifying effect of the head/bulb, you can see ultra fine machine marks which I like. If I run the edge of my finger nails over it I can hear a fine zipping noise. This is a feature, not a bug.
