These are the first pair of shoes that I’ve worn from Kuru and they have help me with my plantar fasciitis I have custom orthotics that don’t give me the comfort that these sandals do Love them!

So far so good.
I am happy so far. I’ve worn them for several hours stretches and my feet feel alright. I have had chronic plantars fasciitis for years - left heel is the worst. Sandals are always a challenge. These seem promising. I’m excited to see how they feel after a few long walks. I am a return Kuru customer.

Time-Tested Believer
I bought my first Kurus about four years ago while recovering from a severe case of plantar fasciitis. Both the foot doctor and the physical therapist I saw recommended them, so I bought a pair. I still have that pair, though I've got so many miles on them there's no tread left on the soles. I have two other pairs that I use for serious walking, including the pair I bought recently. They are all amazingly comfortable and I've been able to resume a steady walking regimen with no ill affects. With my last order, I also bought a pair of sandals. I wasn't sure how they would work because I wear a Wide shoe and the sandals only come in the standard width, but the Kuru Guru said they'd work so I took a chance. Glad I did. They're even more comfortable than the shoes, though I haven't tried them on a long walk yet. My first Kurus came with printed instructions on how to break them in. The newer ones didn't, but the instructions are on the Kuru website. I advise everyone to review them and follow the procedure. These shoes are expensive, but they're cheap compared to the cost in dollars and pain in dealing with foot injuries and unnecessary wear and tear on ankles and knees. I recommend them highly.
