Great shoes

The photos don't do them justice. They are much more refined than I expected. Super sturdy. Thick leather sole and all leather heel. Great for dancing. Very impressive shoes. The 3 things to be aware of are: 1) they seem to run a bit narrow. My foot is not wide, but on the wider side of medium. My normal 11.5 was too tight across the instep. I had to step up to a 12 - which is by no means too big. 2) I would wish that the nails be seated a bit more deeply in the heel. The heads protrude a bit and scratch the floor. After wearing them on stone or concrete for a while, of course, they will wear down to flush. 3) the heel counter is a bit high, which digs into the Achilles tendon uncomfortably. An inexpensive heel wedge inside the shoe does take care of this though. Overall, they are a great value for the money. The exchange was flawless, and I'm happy with my purchase. Highly recommended.

Nice quality

The leather is good quality, thick yet not too stiff around the foot. The buckles I ordered went on without issue. Shoes are comfortable and fit true to size once foot is seated down in the shoe. Just have a good shoehorn handy to put shoes on until they get broke in or you may crush the heel when seating your heel into the shoe if you have wide feet or a high arch. I have nothing negative to say about these shoes at all. They arrived without a single scuff to the black leather finish.

Love the construction of the shoes and how they look. HOWEVER, disappointed because I thought they came with buckles . . . mine did not.
