Birthstone Charm

I ordered the charm to be worn on the necklace. The charm doesnt fit on the necklace. It doesnt slide on thanks to the heart cutout at the end of the necklace chain. Why would you guys ship that knowing that it wont fit? Obviously if im ordering them together, I intend to wear them together. How disappointing. Charm looks cheap too.
