the router worked better than the operator. You must be careful when clearing the bit to pull out of the cut. otherwise, you could have a radius cut that goes up the side. I would also recommend a radius rather than a sharp corner on the bit reducing the possibility of cracking at the base. The bearing size option allows you to adjust for depth of cut which is also an advantage.
