Zodiac Academy Series 12 books Collection

I was really looking forward to these books. The seller helped me sooo much by locating the set of new editions because the old covers are no longer going to be available. When I opened the box I was disappointed because the books looked off. I cant describe the matte/shinny look but the embossed lettering on the books was not overlapping. Like if someone was trying to color and emboss in a hurry. Not sure what to do.
