Memories of childhood

Thank you, Ackroyds bakery, your meat pies brought back memories of childhood, my sister, and I walking to downtown Wilkinsburg with my grandmother to buy their Scottish meat pies. I honestly believe my sister and I are experts, having eaten the pies for over 60 years, from Smith’s bakery from Highland games in Celtic festivals and all visiting my cousin in Edinburgh, Scotland, whose family designed the machine that makes the meat pie shells. I hardly recommend purchasing at least a dozen of these meat pies. They freeze well. I like mine with some HP sauce and my sister likes hers with Heinz tomato ketchup. 😉
