Daunting task
It appears from what I have seen so far that the spreadsheet is thorough. What I still haven't done is sit down and go through all the great videos. I really appreciate this part of the spreadsheet, the step by step coaching and explanations. I sold a piece of art, and need to figure out how to record it. Also, I'll be moving into a studio next month, so I will have to get on with this so I can have a more thorough understanding of what I am doing! So much to learn!

I really wanted to like this spreadsheet because it has a lot of potential. It offers a good range of features, and I can see how it could be useful in the right setup. That said, as a home baker, I found it to be more work than other food cost spreadsheets I’ve used in the past. Inputting the COGM for dozens of recipes was pretty time consuming, and keeping ingredient prices updated in a way that stayed relevant didn’t feel very streamlined. I do wish the COGM process was a bit more automated, especially since having to calculate every single ingredient before entering it adds a lot of extra steps. I’m sure this works really well for craft-based products, but with baked goods, it can get overwhelming pretty quickly. I do like a lot of the features, and I’ll probably continue using it for tracking ingredient inventory, but not for managing my finished products. Overall, it’s a solid tool, just not the best fit for my workflow.
