Forever in Our Hearts Memorial Stone

It was nice to be able to purchase a large memorial stone with personalized engraving for someone's loss. But for the cost of this engraved stone, we were disappointed that the stone was dumped at our door (it's heavy and the delivery driver was probably tired when putting it on the porch) in a very worn shipping box that had traveled in a too-thin cardboard box with just the shredded paper around it. The bottom of the stone had superficial cracking (we get it, it's the bottom which will be covered when placed down somewhere), but it was distressing to see this as well as a disappointment that the memorial stone did not arrive in the usual strong quality Carruth Studio box that we are used to. We understand it's a large stone, but it still should have been in a large Carruth strong box, and then placed in a shipping box for transport. We are giving this stone to a grieving family, and now we have the stone in a worn and jostled box and no quality way to present it to the family. For the cost, we are very disappointed that it was not packaged and presented in a higher quality way for us to give it.

We love that it can be personalized...however the limit did allow for everything we would have liked to add. Count limit. Otherwise, the recipient loves it.

Beautifully carved Good weight on the stone to place outdoors. Very pleased and met my expectations.
