First I would like to thank "Griffith Shaving Goods for their wonderful customer service and their vast selection of sharpening stones and supplies and their Straight Razor selection. This store is the real deal. Just looking at Their web site tells you how much they care about what they do and the customers they serve. So, I bought the Rozsutec Natural Sharpening & Honing Stone- 8". It's a natural finishing stone and I bought it to round out my selection of wet stones. I learned about Griffith Shaving Goods by doing a web search looking for sharpening supplies and stones and I'm so happy that I came across their site. this stone, the Rozsutec Natural Sharpening & Honing Stone fit the bill perfectly. It's a natural stone and I liked that, and it feels hard but at the same time it feels very compliant when you put a blade against it. It's hard to explain but it works great. the finest stone I had before this one was a 3,000 grit chosera and as wonderful as that stone is I wanted to fine a finishing stone just find out if I was missing something when I sharpen my knives. And this Rozsutec Natural Sharpening & Honing Stone makes a big difference. Even though I put a great edge on my knives with my chosera stones this stone just takes it to the next level. I don't have the vocabulary to explain it more than that and if your used this stone you would surely understand what I am trying to say. One would't think that you could do much more with an edge past a 3,000 grit stone and I didn't either until I felt the slicing ability after finishing with this stone plus it I achieved a mirror polish. I wondering if the mirror finish is what makes the difference just by eliminating that much more friction when using the knife. No matter how it did what it did I'm so happy to have purchase this stone and feel that I'll have this stone for many years of service. And I'm so happy to have found Griffith Shaving Goods and this stone for the price they sell it at. When I search for sharpening supplies, I'm searching for quality and for price and Griffith Shaving Goods hits it out of the park on both of those accounts.

Amazing whetstone and cool business story, I could feel the quality when I pulled it out of the box. I will use this for decades. Ill give away or sell my old whetstone, I am never going back, only natural stones for me now. I almost want to buy a second one to hoard in my closet.
