This is an all time best!! I use nippers in the garden as my everyday tool. This Japanese made tool is perfectly aligned to my feminine hand.

I love tools! Gardening has been a lifelong (to date) passion as well as livelihood . Many of my tools are as old or older than my children. Good tools last. The downside is coveting tools I don’t have nor need. Niwaki tools are fairly new to me. As I age, 70, I am finding various tasks harder if not downright dangerous. My first Niwaki purchase were the long handled shears. A must for keeping ladder work on the lower rungs, as well as minimize bending into a pretzel. Recently a pair of scissors distantly similar to the Niwaki bit the dust. While sentiment gave me a moments grief, I knew I had a very good reason to replace them. I actually got goosebumps as pulled these out of the box. The weight, balance and beauty of these scissors is perfection. Many years ago I was given a piece of advice that I cling to and swear by, spend the most $ on the things you will use the most. A mundane task is elevated when all the parts required bring one joy.
