KZ PR3: Planar In-Ear Monitors for Musicians

Great for home use, but not for the stage

It sounds good, but it doesn’t have the power you need for live performance. I’m a professional singer and perform about twice a week with my band. I usually run my in-ears quite loud because I want to be fully inside the music to pitch perfectly. Unfortunately, these in ears just aren’t up to that job. They’re fine for home use, but not for me on stage. I literally A/B-tested them during a show against my Ultimate Ears, and the difference was huge. The price also doesn’t match the quality you get it’s simply not in the same league. Our drummer tested them as well and had exactly the same experience.

there is no bass, they are very quiet, have to buy something better
