Before I purchased, I read the (few) negative reviews, which were in two general categories: 1) the beanie was two expensive; 2) the size wasn’t right. For my part, I only have good things to report. I purchased the larger size of the North Cap according to the size recommendations. It fits perfectly. And the price? Worth every penny. I’ll even be purchasing more. In a world where so much is mass produced and digital, it is a beautiful thing to have a beanie that is full analog. There is “humanity” in the knitting. Look, I could spend $5,000 - $10,000 to travel to Istanbul to get a hair transplant to address my male patterned baldness. But I’m not interested in that. I’d rather “own” my authentic baldness and simply accessorize with the best beanie in the world. So when I compare the price of these beanies to the cost of a hair transplant, these are a great deal. And if I can help support keeping Norwegian knitting culture alive, I’ll happily support that (with a nod to my mother and grandmother, who were both diligent knitters). Thanks for the great product. I’ll be purchasing more beanies in the future in other colors.

Exactly what I was looking for

Perfect weight, not bulky. Hand stitched design and no seams sets this hat apart from others. Exactly what I was looking for. Wore my red hat almost everyday from fall to spring and still looks like new.

We’re in This Together Now

Picked this up for the Zissou vibe, but it stands on its own. The red is spot on, the wool is soft, and it’s genuinely comfortable to wear. Fit is excellent—snug without being tight, no constant adjusting, and it holds its shape well. Solid beanie.
