This is a very good electronic version of an open flame smoker. I compared this side-by-side by my traditional torch smoker and there is no loss of smell or flavor. The quality is great and it is very easy to use. Perfect buy for a home bar.

the product is great. I had a new one a couple months ago, but it failed after only a couple uses- so I bought 3 of them as I don't want to be without them (there was a deal for the third). Hopefully the first was just a fluke, and the rest all stand up better.

the device is great- my brother bought me one a few weeks ago, which I had only used a few times, but the product failed. I didn't bother trying to return it or whatever- i went on the site and bought 3 of them as I may gift one. given the previous experience with my first unit, I'm slightly hesitant at the longevity of the product, but actually love the unit- I hope these new ones last longer.
