Nice in Theory

It’s a cute shirt and I was super excited to wear it. However, when I was unbuttoning it for the first time, one of the buttons broke in half and fell off the shirt. It was so thin it broke like a potato chip. I sent pictures and the agent told me that that just happens sometimes with these buttons and said they could only refund me $25. Getting all the buttons replaced and hand-sewn back on (because of the delicate nature of the shirt/embroidery) was more like $40. After spending that extra money to get it re-buttoned, I washed it on gentle and hung dry, and it still wrinkled so bad that I couldn’t get it pressed or steamed flat again. I get that this is all the nature of using natural materials etc but I really just wanted a cute shirt, I feel like I ended up a 19th century seamstress trying to get this shirt to work haha. Also, there’s a faded pink streak on the fabric between the top and second button (that was there before washing, wearing, or re-buttoning), so I’ll always have to wear it fully buttoned to hide that mark. Anyways, all that to say, it’s a really cute shirt, but it’s not worth the trouble for me. It’s cute, so if you’re willing to go in with a hot iron and deal with any “natural materials” issues, then maybe you’ll be happy with it.

The fit is perfect and the mixture of textured fabrics make this piece so unique but so classy. A true closet staple

Perfect summer blouse

A crisp white sleeveless blouse, with just enough style to stand out among all the other crisp white blouses. Perfect length, perfect cut, and the details are spot on. Embroidery is a bit delicate, so not a workhorse piece, but an outfit maker for sure.
