FAUX FUR LINED PUFFER

Beautiful! Would have loved it in petite

This is a beautiful, warm jacket. It came just in time for our single digit temps. I gave it 4 stars becasue I'm 5'1" and would have preferred it in a petite and a bottom up sipper as well to make sitting easier. Also, it is a heavy jacket to carry around once you take it off (maybe a little lighter if you take the hood off?).

Quality Winter Coat

I am really impressed with this coat. I will put it this way: If I wore it to death, destroyed it, lost it, or needed a new size, I would 1,000 percent purchase it again and again. It is very warm. I have worn it on a walk by a river in windy 25-degree weather and felt very toasty. It's also stylish and flattering -- not your typical puffer. I like that the fabric is moderately stretchy, and the coat moves with you (which is great if you fluctuate in weight, great for driving, or moving around and picking up doggy doodoo on the above-mentioned walk). I like that you can cinch the waist, which creates a nice A-line silhouette. The gold zipper is a nice touch, and the overall quality of the fabric and hardware is great. The hood is nice and doesn't slide down into your face. The weight of the coat is kind of heavy, but it's a small tradeoff for how toasty it is. I am 5'3, wear a size US 12, and I bought the large. Even though the website says it is filled with down, it actually is not. The inside tag says it is lined with Sorona polyester, which is a corn material. So, at least in my book, another major plus is that this coat is actually cruelty-free.

Excellent quality, roomy, comfortable, and very warm. A little on the heavy side, which I am grateful for in colder weather. Very happy with this purchase!
