6ft Kendal Rabbit Hutch and Run Combo

A bit disappointing

I had high hopes for this hutch and run combo but I’m a little disappointed by it. Now I’m not a newcomer to putting things together, I love a bit of flatpack but this was so frustrating! The instructions aren’t great and there weren’t enough screws for the corresponding number in the instructions. Some of the holes hadn’t been drilled and the ones that had, I had to remove all of the split wood away from the hole before I could put the screw in it. A couple of pieces were also damaged on the edges/corners. Not massive issues which warrant returning, but annoying nonetheless. The hutch itself is great, it’s huge and my buns are going to love it when they move in but the run underneath is still quite flimsy even after being fastened together. I can already tell that it’s going to be a nightmare to clean out because the fixed roof section of the run means you have to reach all the way over it to get to the actual hutch (we can’t have it the other way around due to the space). It will do for now but in hindsight, I should have gone for a separate hutch and run because due to the flimsiness, I can’t see this lasting a long time.

Really spacious hutch and run! We painted it yellow and white and it looks so good! Set up is easy if you really read the instructions. My bunnies love it.

Brilliant hutch . Even with the given measurements it looks huge . My rabbits are much happier with a lot more room to move around . I wish I’d gone for this first instead of wasting money on cheaper hutches
