Magic Playwall - Rectangle Magnetic Wall Decal for Kids

As a preschool teacher, I was excited to use this Magic Playwall in my classroom. So far, it’s been good overall—the magnetic sight words hold up well and are a great addition. However, the dry erase marker doesn’t come off as easily as expected. Even when using the marker that came with the set, it requires a magic eraser to fully remove the writing, which is disappointing. The chalk works better in terms of clean-up, but I wish it were more vibrant so it’s easier for kids to see. That’s why I was really hoping the dry erase marker would work more effectively. Overall, I’m still happy with the product, but we’ll see how it holds up after cleaning and rearranging over the summer.

Boy loves it!

I bought the Caramel Rectangle Magic Wall for my 2 years 2 months old boy recently. The item reached Toronto within 2 weeks despite the terrible showdown we have been having. The material itself is quite thick and good quality. The film protecting the back was easy to peel off and I put the decal up quite quickly & easily by myself. I did use additional adhesive tapes after reading reviews of it falling off the wall too soon; it has been a week and I haven't noticed any concern with the adhesion. I have bought alphabet magnets off Amazon and they stick very well to the magnet - the chalks are crayon-like & my boy is happily drawing away. I also got the Cherrypick Shapes magnets and he loves them! - the box of Shapes has lots in it. I gave 4 starts for 3 reasons - 1) tracking updates were very few and I had no idea of the details of whereabouts of the parcel. For a product as expensive as this, I expect better updates of the shipment's progress 2) Erasing marks of the crayons is tough- I am using dampened microfiber cloth to wipe off but worried it might damage the surface of the decal 3) I bought the Neon chalks and the lavender barely shows. The other colours are not bright either - my boy uses the white one mainly - the crayons are definitely a rip off!
