Tough for newbies

The spindle is very nice and light weight. As a new spindler, I would not recommend it as a first support spindle. I think if there was a notch at the top it would make it a little easier to get the material on the spindle. I even had trouble with a leader attaching to get started. But, it is a very nice fast spinning, with nothing on it, spindle. Oh, and the support works as well.

Russian spindles

I'm new to using Russian spindles, these spin so nice and are well balanced. This is my second purchase.
