A simple concept to provide a great solution. I have an 8WT line that was cut in 2 and repaired with a blood knot. Sure the line still fished, but with the knot where it was affected the cast and the retrieve when the blood knot got to the guides during a retrieve. Avoiding the cost of buying another $75 line, I found LineSPLICE and what an improvement over a blood knot. Simple instructions and a little heat and back in business we are.
Line salvaged, environment saved, and a little extra cash in the pocket.
