Incredible upgrade!

I cannot think of a word that tells how much I like this upgrade! I purchased it to install on my 10 year old titanium handrail with classic XC geometry of 71/73. This angled head set has totally changed the handling characteristics in a positive way…. Any “ nervousness “ or “ twitchyness “ when descending has disappeared… it even performs much better on slow technical climbs. I live in western North Carolina where the terrain can be very steep and tricky and this Headset has been tested on long, steep gravel descents as well as moderate to steep technical single track and has performed flawlessly.

Transformed my older hardtail

I put this on my 2013 GT Karakoram hardtail, which has a very steep headtube angle at 71-degrees (I know, I should probably get a new bike). Since installing the 2-degree angled headset, it made the bike feel a decade newer. Installation was a little more challenging than a standard headset, but with a little patience I was able to do the job in my garage.
