Hall Effect Analogs - PS5

I bought two sets of these and replaced the analogs of two controllers. The results are amazing. I am no longer suffering the whimsical movements of the cheap analogs Sony put in. Moving the hall effects feels like gliding which it essentially is and the clicks of the R3 and L3 buttons feel satisfying. Even though it was only the analogs that were replaced, it feels like all the entire controller was upgraded along with all the face buttons somehow. Installation was a bit challenging. It was the first time I ever had to deal with lead-free soldering. I had an old solder heater that was not hot enough to melt the solder so I had to order another one capable of reaching 400C. However, that is no one's fault other than Sony's for using it and bad analogs. If you are hesitant because of the installation process, do not be. There are many videos online that explain in detail what to do. You can either do it yourself or check a local electronics repair store to do it for you. I am extremely satisfied with this purchase and thankful for Video Games Restoration for providing this item. Thank you very much. 5/5
