I have purchased two of these hinges to support heavy doors on a project. I cut the first hinge into two pieces for two doors. The material is soft steel that I could easily fashion square holes for carriage bolts. The hinge has no predrilled holes which better allows me to put holes where I need them. The second hinge will not be cut and will support a door of about 75 pounds. The project is 2/3's done and working/looking very good with these hinges.
