There is definitely a learning curve It took me a few times on scraps to get everything worked out. One thing I did figure out is the directions tell you to bore all of the shallow holes and then go back and bore all of the deep holes. I have a plunge router so I bored the shallow hole then I put in the screws that come with the template and board the deep hole. This leaves no chance of missing the first bore By even a little and messing up The template location. The template is expensive but it saves I'm trying to make one yourself, I didn't have that kind of time available on this project. This is a table top that folds and stores in an RV. The client attaches it to the table in the dinette while she's working then folds it up when she's done for the day.
