Nice option for the easiest-to-use GP2040CE out there
I was not planning on getting the GP2040CE USB add-on but Jasen had a special that was too hard to ignore. I got the add-ons for a very reasonable price. Right now, I don't have the converter/jump-drive to use the add-ons but it's nice I won't have to wait when I do get the MagicBoots converter. 1 USB add-on is in a converted Agetec case with a GP2040CE, the other add-on is on my recently refit Arcana Heart 2 joystick which now has a 3D-printed turbo panel (printed from a file Paik4like developed).
The GP2040CE's are working like a charm. The only problems I've had are firmware flash errors on my part as well an old microswitch that had a wiring issue that disrupted TURBO function on one GP2040CE/Agetec. All easily fixed within 2 days!

The IPFB add-on board works flawlessly when everything is hooked up.
I have the 1.0 IPFB board so I had to solder the JST connector to the board.
I initially had an issue where for some reason the MagicBoots was not being lit up when plugged into a PS4. I was able to go to Jasen's Discord and we were able to troubleshoot the problem. Turns out one of my solder joints wasn't soldered properly and it wasn't pulling power for the add-on. Once I had fixed that it was working as intended!
The IPFB / MagicBoots / USB add-on combo is a great way to get any controller to work on PS4/PS5 without spending too much.
